In May 1961 the old St. Dunstan's Church (271 Street just south of Fraser Highway) was host to the BC Women's Institute's Douglas District Conference. Ladies from all over the Lower Mainland and the Sunshine Coast were in attendance. Lunch was provided in the United Church Hall, and the ladies also spent some of their time visiting the downtown commercial core.

We're asking for help from our heritage hive - these Aldergrove Star photos are in a box dated "1990s", can you help us narrow down a year, confirm the school (we think it might be Shortreed) and possibly provide some names, so that we can search the Aldergrove Star papers for the story that goes with the photos.
