This year, Sixty 2 Sixty Art Gallery, under the curatorial direction of June Collie, is proud to present Bahamian artist and educator Yutavia George at the fourth edition of FUZE Caribbean Art Fair, taking place October 21st–25th, 2026, under the theme “Coming Home.”
For Yutavia, Coming Home carries a special meaning. Over the past several years, her artistic journey has taken her from The Bahamas to Paris and now Chicago, where she currently lives, studies, and works. Through drawing, painting, installation, and performance, her practice explores identity, changing environments, labor, physical space, and the passage of time. Presenting her work at FUZE creates a meaningful connection between the experiences she has gathered abroad and the place where her artistic foundation began, The Bahamas.
Sixty 2 Sixty Art Gallery is honored to bring Yutavia’s evolving practice home and to share her work as part of FUZE, a regional platform celebrating the depth, diversity, and continued growth of Caribbean visual art.
