Wildlife Artist of the Year 2026 🦓

With the exhibition opening next week, it’s all starting to feel very real! Zebra’s Gaze is already in London, ready for the exhibition at the Mall Galleries from 8th–12th September as a finalist in this year’s David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Wildlife Artist of the Year.

The online exhibition is now live, which also means voting for the People’s Choice Award is officially open.

Art doesn’t have to stay on the wall 🧡

“Crimson Currents” takes an original acrylic painting from canvas to 100% silk twill, bringing its rich reds, burnt oranges, golds and soft peach tones into a piece of wearable art. Look closely and you’ll find two ducks nestled within the design 🦆

I’m thrilled to share that my painting Zebra’s Gaze has been selected as a finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Wildlife Artist of the Year 2026 competition 🤩

To have my work chosen from so many outstanding entries and exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London this September is an incredible honour and one of the proudest moments of my artistic career so far.

As a wildlife artist, and someone who has worked in wildlife conservation and veterinary medicine, this recognition means a great deal to me.

A huge thank you to the judging panel for selecting Zebra’s Gaze, and thank you to everyone who has supported my journey as an artist. Whether you’ve collected a piece, followed my work, visited one of my exhibitions, or simply encouraged me along the way, I truly appreciate it!

Echoes of Extinction is an abstract seascape inspired by the North Atlantic right whale, vaquitas, and finless dolphins - marine species threatened by extinction.

Through layered blues, movement, and texture, the original painting reflects both the beauty and fragility of the life beneath the surface.
