From skate park to serving plate... there’s something wonderfully nostalgic about these funky, handcrafted skateboard plates by John Stewart.

Made from pre-loved Canadian rock maple skateboards, each plate carries the story of its former life — worn graphics, grinding marks and all.

Rather than letting broken boards end up in landfill, John transforms them into funky, one-of-a-kind pieces that sit beautifully between art, sustainability and functionality.

There’s something quietly evocative about Julie Goldspink’s latest works that captures my dream life perfectly.

Perhaps it’s my late mid-life fascination with waves, particularly being on them 🌊 that stirred an instant connection with ‘Sea Spray’, Julie’s magnificent and energetic ocean painting, where the movement and power of the water feels almost tangible.

Equally captivating are her atmospheric coastal works ‘Late Stroll at Dusk’ and ‘Faithful Friends I & II’; gentle reflections of beachside living, evening skies, and those treasured daily walks with loyal doggos along the shoreline.

Julie has such a beautiful way of capturing both the drama and serenity of the coast through watercolour. These paintings invite you to pause, breathe deeply, and imagine salt air, rolling waves, and sand beneath your feet 🩵

Trevor Hawkins’ life-long connection to the south-eastern Australian coastline is felt with the movement and raw energy in his new works.

Working with oils, applied boldly by palette knife, Trevor builds rich, textured surfaces that echo the movement and mood of the landscape. It’s less about the view, and more about the experience — the rush of nature’s elements and the intrigue of wild places 🌊

Nick Perrin’s paintings are always a talking point and his latest painting, ‘Colours of Change’ is no exception.

A vibrant welcome to autumn, the elegant Birch trunks stand like quiet sentinels among the scatter of golden leaves; the richly textured foliage appears to be about to float from the canvas. Energy and calm in perfect balance, just like the season itself 🍂
