What a great day. Thanks to everyone that came to our little railway today. As the sun set and the trains packed away, ticket sales were counted. A massive 267 passengers 😃

All our volunteers will sleep well tonight and hopefully all our passengers enjoyed their ride and took home wonderful memories.

Our hard working track maintenance crew had a large task over the weekend with the replacing of around 50 sleepers. This helps keep the track perfectly spaced and very secure meaning a safer ride for everyone.

Sunday 2nd August we will open from 10 am to 2 pm. (Please note the earlier close time.)
But... Mother Nature may have her way! If conditions are not favourable we will make a call early and advise as soon as possible.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos and video showing the D2020 and ZA4 double heading. Both locos are powered up and load sharing. This is a fairly special thing as the locos are powered differently. The D has an electric traction motor and the Z has hydraulic traction.
