We are running!
Members here doing pre-run safety checks.
The weather is surprisingly mild. A little rain earlier and probably a few sprinkles to come. Otherwise it is a goer for us.
Maybe a jacket just in case…

The rain might hold off so our trains are getting prepared for today’s runs from 10-3.

Mums ride FREE this Sunday.

We were closed last weekend so this Sunday is our Mothers Day special and all Mums ride for free. Bring your Dad, bring your Pop, bring your favourite Teddy, but most importantly, BRING YOUR MUM ❤️

Trains running from 10am to 3pm. Cost $3 for non-Mums 😃

****UPDATE… Today’s run is reluctantly cancelled due to the weather. Our next run is Sunday 17th when Mums ride free 🥰 *****

That about sums it up. So it is likely to be too wet but we will make a call and update as early as possible in the morning. So keep your eyes peeled and check back.

A (tardy but very) heartfelt thanks to the Ulverstone Lions Club for sponsoring our recent Free Family Day. There was a fantastic turnout and 😄🤣😍 all round! And what a spectacle to see three of our locos 🚂🚂🚂 on the track at once, pulling carriages full of passengers!
Toys Aboard also had a busy time taking some special travellers 🧸🧸🧸for a few laps.
It was also wonderful to see families picnicking, soaking in the🌞 and enjoying 🍔🥓🥤from Lions' bbq.
Thanks also to Evandale Train Rides for providing a crew once again, it's great to have your support.👏
After a very busy morning, with rush hour or two or three over, I finally had time to take some photos, although they don't really do the day justice. If anyone has any better, please share.
We counted 904 rides all up. Yay! NW Tas - Thanks for your support - next year we'll aim to break the passenger record!🥇🏆🏋️‍♀️

It’s a clear and crisp Autumn morning and going to be a lovely sunny day. Our own little Tasman Limited is getting ready to haul our passengers from 10am to 3pm.

Sorry - No Trains This Sunday 5th April.
Our members have had a busy few months and a little break has been earned by all.
