Day 3&4

The pace is slowing down now as we arrive at the glorious Lake Garda! 🌿🇮🇹

On the way, we visited the fascinating home and museum of Italian poet, artist and activist Gabriele D’Annunzio, before checking into our beautiful villa in a tiny village high on the hillside overlooking the lake.

The workshops and art-making have now begun, with everyone filling their journals with life-drawing sketches from our morning sessions in the garden, along with words, thoughts and ideas collected over the past few days.

And then Sunday means one thing in Italy… a big family lunch! ❤️

We were thrilled to welcome Luigi and his family, who prepared a wonderful traditional four-course Italian feast for us.

Good food, good company and plenty of inspiration — the perfect way to spend a Sunday.

Day 1 & 2 :: Brescia

Two glorious days in Brescia to kick off our Art Retreat!
We explored the city's incredible layers of history — from pre-Roman and Roman times through the Renaissance to the present day.

We visited Chiesa di San Cristo, Santa Giulia, Capitolium, Duomo di Brescia and Castello di Brescia, discovering fascinating ruins, churches, museums and architecture along the way. And of course we have enjoyed delicious food and w**e all along the way!

One of the tasks for our guests is to fill their journals with sketches, words, thoughts and images — gathering inspiration and ideas that will help them develop their own pieces of work later in the week.

Now onto Lake Garda!!

This is an 8 day experience that's thoughtfully designed for creativity, connection and yummy food — set against one of Italy’s most beautiful landscapes. Designed for both practicing artists and art lovers, we have something for everyone.
