Come and enjoy a look at some historic film clips. Some are taken by locals recording their family activities, some has been digitized as part of Frames of History's preservation of our past and one small segment is perhaps the earliest movie footage of Red Cliffs shot in 1921. We are showing at the Library at 2.30pm Wednesday. Join us and help to add to the history with your memories too. Ring 50188366 for info and to book.

One of our historic Red Cliffs buildings. Has been part of our streetscape since it was built in 1934/5. Unfortunately it was badly burnt in 1937 but was rebuilt in the same plan and operated as a bank until 1984.

A NEW residential property initiative aims to deliver modern apartment living to Red Cliffs, providing new housing opportunities for Sunraysiaโ€™s first home buyers. The new bank apartments are backed by a local medical professional and a group of private equity investors, delivering contemporary ap...

Do you have memories of boating, fishing or swimming at Karadoc?

๐Ÿšค A better boat ramp is on the way for Karadoc!

Work is kicking off this week to upgrade the Karadoc boat ramp near Mildura.

The existing single-lane gravel ramp will be replaced with a steeper, 32.5 metre-long concrete ramp, making it easier for a range of boats to get on the Murray River from Victoria.

The upgrade will also include:
โœ… A grooved surface for extra grip
โœ… Rock armouring to help control erosion
โœ… New signage
โœ… A design built to better handle changing water levels and shifting sediment

Karadoc boat ramp will be closed during construction, with works expected to be complete by December 2026.

In the meantime, boaters can use nearby ramps at Red Cliffs, Psyche Pumps and Horseshoe Bend.

This project was made possible thanks to your boating licence and registration fees through the Victorian Governmentโ€™s Better Boating Fund.

Here's a building that has been central to the life of Red Cliffs for more than 100 years. What memories does it have for you?

More than a century of Red Cliffs history.

Diggerland has stood here since the early 1920s, beginning life as a theatre and public hall and becoming a familiar part of the town ever since.

Who has memories of Diggerland over the years?

Another delightful photo of one of our town's buildings. The original building was used as Diningrooms. What business do you remember here?

Still standing out after all these years.

The old Sunnyland Press in Red Cliffs. That colourful frontage is still one of those local landmarks thatโ€™s hard to miss.
