Every day is a work in progress, and I'm so glad I took a chance on exploring this creative side of myself.

Each artwork is created with so much love and passion, with a little piece of who I am poured into every detail.

Creating art has become so much more than just painting. It's a way to express myself, find calm and share a little beauty with the world.

My latest collection, The Garden of the Deep, is now available to explore on my website.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, a gentle reminder that it’s okay to slow down, take a breath and give yourself the same kindness you so freely give to others 🤍

Mental health matters every day — in the quiet moments, the overwhelming ones, and everything in between.

For me, creating art has always been a way to find a little calm amongst the noise. I hope my work can offer a small sense of that too.

Be gentle with yourself today. You’re doing enough 🫶🏼

Hi, I'm Patti and here are six interesting facts about me as an artist:

* I'm completely self-taught
* I didn't always think I'd become an artist
* I'm constantly changing my mind halfway through a painting
* My favourite part is adding the detail at the end
* I rarely sketch out my paintings
* I love vibrant, happy colours

If you're new here, I'm so glad you found me 🫶🏼

Through Every Tide 🌊

This piece is about the seasons of life that shift around us, the things we can’t always control, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward.

The sea turtle felt like the perfect symbol for this — calm, resilient and steady, continuing on through changing waters.

More than anything, I wanted this painting to feel like a reminder that strength doesn’t always have to be loud. Sometimes it’s simply trusting yourself enough to keep going.

I hope this painting brings a sense of calm, hope and quiet resilience into the space it eventually calls home. 🤍

What does this piece make you feel?
