Check out this beautiful embroidery by Cyclazia Artretro collective's embroidery extraordinaire!

It has only taken about 18 months but its finally done, well the embroidery part has finished, I just have to frame it. This took a lot of thread, done in Rajmahal art silk. I used split stitch and stem stitch for nearly all of the embroidery. Glass beads for the scales on her head.

Artretro welcomed more than 100 people to its Old Land [in a] New Light exhibition when it opened at Narrogin’s ARTS Space on August 8.

You are invited to an evening of art and music at our soiree for our Old Land [in a] New Light exhibition.

This exhibition is awesome - 93 works by 30 artists with a connection to Narrogin, responding to the theme of "Old Land in a New Light".

And just in case you missed the opening last Saturday afternoon - here's an evening opportunity to view the works. A soiree with music from Octavia, a beverage or two and some nibbles.
