Opening Day is Here!

The talented members of the South East Art Society are opening their exhibition "Somewhere You Have Been" in the Main Gallery Come see who takes out first place in: 2D Art, Mixed Media Hanging Art and 3D Art categories! OR Have your say and vote in the Viewer's Choice category!!

In the Bainger Gallery and New Talent Foyer, the talented year 12 students from Naracoorte High School will open their exhibition "Emerging Perspectives" See all the talent of the upcoming artists from Naracoorte.

Entry is free.

We will have refreshments, art and fun.

If you are heading to the Naracoorte Markets in the Town Square this Sunday 18 October (from 9am - 1pm) make sure you schedule in time to visit the Naracoorte Art Gallery.

As a BONUS, we will be opening our two new exhibitions at 2PM!

Come see the SE Art Society's exhibition "Somewhere you Have Been" and the Naracoorte High School year 12's exhibition "Emerging Perspectives"

Entry is free, there will be light refreshments, and artists will be on hand to talk about their work (and accept compliments)

You can even vote for your favourite artwork in our Viewer's Choice category.

The 162nd Naracoorte P&A Society Show is on TODAY!! If you're in Naracoorte you should check it out

And right across the street at 91 Ormerod is the Naracoorte Regional Art Gallery!

Admission is free (donations always accepted) and there are some great exhibitions on display!

Also we have got you covered no matter the weather outside. If the weather is hot, come in to the cool of the gallery, or if it's rainy and wet come in where it'll be nice and dry :)

Don't miss out, stop in and check us out!

Even though the school holidays are over, Naracoorte's Great Explorer Passports are good until 31 October!

If you are missing your stamp from the Art Gallery, we are open this weekend!

Out and about in Naracoorte this week?

Stop in and buy a raffle ticket at the Good Country Physio clinic on Smith St.

This year first prize is a gorgeous painting by Jan Barnett called "Almost Dinner Time"

Whether you're looking to add to your own art collection or know the perfect person to gift it to, this painting is the perfect piece.

Got a favourite corner of the Naracoorte Lucindale district? Put it on the wall. Just keep it small!

Entries are open for My Place Mini-Scapes 2026.

The details:
- Works up to 40cm x 40cm, 2D or in a shadow box
- Up to three entries per artist
- All works must be for sale (the gallery takes a 25% commission)
- Deliver your work with an entry form by 3.00pm Sunday 8 November. No late entries.
- Exhibition runs 18 November 2026 to 10 January 2027
