The weather gods were a little kind to us for the 11th Annual Memorial Service held yesterday 11th April 2026. There were a couple of minor showers in between the clouds and sunshine. We were not forced indoors thankfully.
A sincere thankyou is extended to all that were present at the service.

The 11th Annual Memorial service will be held at 11.am. with the AGM of the Museum to be held at 2pm in the Museum Building if you would like to join us.

If you would like to support our fundraising efforts and haven't done so as yet there will be
Challenge Coins available for sale at $30 each, together with various books written by the Late Rex Hall in recording the history of the EFS and CFS from very early days. These books range from $35 to $45.

An annual Membership is available at $25 per person.
Membership forms will be available on the day.

Your donation is always welcome and tax deductible. Eft option is available.
We do accept cash as well. Be sure to catch our Treasurer for a receipt.

We look forward to catching up with you next Saturday 11th April 2026 from around 10.30 am onwards. Safe travels to and from this emotive Service.

Happy Easter, safe travels if you are on the road.

Next Saturday 11th April 2026 will be the 11th Annual CFS Memorial Service to be held in Naracoorte at the Memorial Site on Kingston Avenue.
This year for those not able to make the journey we have been very fortunate enough to arrange a livestream option. Here is the link for the livestream: https://youtube.com/live/8S7HOy_7soc

The livestream should commence at 10.45 am or shortly after. Hopefully you will be able to link to this and watch the proceedings for the event.

Please be advised that the Committee of the Museum have discussed the current fuel crisis and the fast approaching Memorial Service.

We would like to advise that the Service will go ahead. We are working on the option of a live stream and will keep you informed. We realise that in some places fuel is now not available and would like to think that by April 11th this situation will improve, however given the world situation can not be certain of anything.

We truly understand if you are not able to travel and are hopeful that this will provide another option to be part of this annual memorial event.
