Founders Kristy, Joel and Josh are siblings who grew up on the Mornington Peninsula and all still live locally. Kristy is a graphic designer, Joel is a carpenter, and Josh is also a graphic designer and illustrator. The original factory was family owned, and together they came up with the vision to transform it into The Nook, a place creatives could come together to work alongside like-minded people. This is something that the Mornington Peninsula lacked at the time which is surprising, as it was teeming with creative talent. Kristy, Joel and Josh are thrilled with the versatile space they’ve created for visionary brands, passionate entrepreneurs and talented local creatives.

✨ We feel so lucky to have as our close neighbours, bringing creative experiences right to our doorstep!

This weekend we hosted an incredible oil painting workshop with MPRG and their artist Michael Vale. What a beautiful way to spend a few hours immersed in creativity 🎨

We’re officially in our hens day hosting era… although, if we’re honest — we’ve always loved hosting them, and they've been a popular booking here 🤍

There’s something so special about seeing the effort that wedding parties, friends, and family pour into celebrating their bride. From the styling and personalised signage to the games, food, drinks, and all the thoughtful little touches in between.

And trust me, as an ex wedding planner, those pre-wedding celebrations really do matter. Planning a wedding is no small feat, so having a day that’s completely taken care of where the bride can relax, feel celebrated, and truly soak it all in — is so important. It’s a chance to pause and celebrate not just the big day ahead but the love story behind it.

We hosted another beautiful hens this weekend, and it was incredible to see how much love went into every detail. From DIY touches to carefully curated moments, it’s all about the thought, the effort, and the people around you 🤍

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHT

We were so grateful to host a beautiful workshop on Sunday hosted by author and coach .james.au . It was a gentle morning to slow down, rest, and reconnect with the principles of mindfulness and self-compassion. Kate created such a warm, welcoming space and a truly special experience.

.james.au will be hosting another workshop at The Nook on Sunday, 3rd May, 2026. Tickets are available via Kate's Instagram or website.

As we wrap up the year, we just wanted to send a massive thank you to everyone who has used our space this year — from our NOOKERS, to our regular bookings, market stall holders, and those who celebrated loved ones with birthdays, hens parties, then to our bookings for workshops, meetings and so much more. Thank you all for your support, and for being part of the Nook community. We’re so grateful and can’t wait to see what next year brings.
