Just finished restoration and is on view at Moec . Penny obtained from the front desk.

Demolished in 1962 , The York cinema in Adelaide’s C*D was an institution and very popular daytime matinee’s provided a place for mothers to drop the kids off to enable a spot of shopping. It started in the silent film era 1921 and ran through till 1960.
Publication is Adelaide’s “Town Topics” 1932.
