THIS WEEK AT MARTINDALE

A question that continues to be asked: are there spirits here?

This Sunday, we open that conversation.

Geraint Seren from The Magic of Shamanism joins us for a considered daytime session exploring presence, perception, and connection — followed by a live audience reading in the Coach House.

Not to be convinced,
but to observe, reflect, and consider.

Doors open 11:00am
Session begins 11:30am

A small number of places remain.

This Sunday, the Coach House at Martindale Hall will be prepared to receive guests for The Unseen.

Hosted by Geraint Seren, from The Magic of Shamanism, the session brings a small group together for a seated presentation, followed by a shared group reading.

It is not a performance. It is a room, held with intention.

For those open to the experience, it offers a moment that is difficult to describe, but often recognised once you are in it.

Final tickets now available.

Step into Martindale Hall

Set within the rolling hills of the Clare Valley, Martindale Hall is a grand 19th-century country house, built not just to impress, but to be lived in and enjoyed.

From its ornate timber work to its intricate parquetry floors, the house reveals itself slowly, room by room. Each space holds a sense of history, shaped by the people who gathered here before.

Today, the Hall remains open to visitors — a place to wander, observe, and experience the rhythm of the house as it was intended.

High Tea at Martindale Hall returns.
Sunday 31 May.

This May, we open the house for a High Tea gathering held within the grand dining room.

Guests are welcomed not just to dine, but to step into the rhythm of the house.
An introduction to its history offers a deeper understanding of the people, the rooms, and the life that once moved through them.

From there, the table is set.

A selection of sweet and savoury high tea dishes.
Exquisite loose-leaf teas by Sociatea and The Merry Wolf.
Served as it would have been — shared, unhurried, and quietly elegant.

This is not a café setting.
It is the house, prepared to receive guests.

$120 per person
Includes full entry to the house

Places are limited.
