Jodie Harris is a Yamatji Wadjari photographer and visual storyteller. Working across social documentary and contemporary photographic practice, her work explores lived experience, personal narrative and the social conditions that shape identity. Through portraiture and long-form storytelling, Jodie creates work that engages with advocacy, resilience and underrepresented voices.
Salt: Bearing Witness is a contemporary photographic installation that highlights the role storytelling and creativity can play in challenging societal norms, while contributing to personal and collective healing. The exhibition addresses the long-term mental health impacts of gender-based violence through a combination of photographic works, installation, and public engagement.
Jodie has a unique ability to evoke deep feeling, memory and thought through her photography. Combined with the installation components, community engagement aspects and complex subject matter of this show, we are anticipating a very moving experience for all who take it in.

It starts in the forest, along riverbanks, in storms and flood-fallen limbs – timber shaped by time, weather and chance. Each piece carries this history forward, not as a flaw to be erased, but a story to be honoured.
Garan Hale works in wood. Using 100% salvaged Australian timbers, he designs and builds furniture and other unique pieces with traditional wooden. His pieces reveal how they are held together through curved laminations, dovetail cleats and morticed joints. Every joint is an invitation to look closer, to see the skill of the hand and the honesty of wood as a material.
Works in wood at Roxy Gallery, will bring together a collection of works that reflect a commitment to circular, ethical craftsmanship, showcasing an intimacy with wood as a material and its relationship with the human form.

Ross Tamlin has had 18 solo exhibitions and participated in many Australian exhibitions, winning a number of prizes and awards. He has successfully exhibited at many International Art Fairs; New York, Sydney and London to name a few and has been represented by galleries in North America, Asia and Europe.
In this retrospective show, we will see an extensive collection of works from the last 30 years. Ross paints works that are surreal, super-real and is widely known for his depictions of text on corrugated iron
Ross is a full-time artist and he has lived in Kyogle since 2003. That whole time, he has quietly been exhibiting and selling paintings all over the world.
For export customs declarations his invoices stipulate “Made in Australia” and we will finally complete the prestigious list of art epicentres where he has exhibited: New York, Sydney, London, Kyogle.
