Fabric2Dye4 Workshop
Join us for an immersive three-day workshop, Fabric2Dye4, where creativity meets color! Over the first two days, you will explore the vibrant world of Procion MX dyes as you dye 8 meters of fabric, transforming plain textiles into stunning pieces of fabric. On the third day, unleash your artistic flair by embellishing your dyed fabric using screen printing, stencils, and stamps.
Participants will also have the opportunity to design their own Thermofax silk screen, allowing for personalized patterns and designs. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced textile artist, this workshop promises to inspire and elevate your fabric design skills. Don't miss the chance to create unique, handcrafted textiles that reflect your individual style!

Dates: 13, 14 and 18 June
Location: Kingaroy 1913 Chambers, Edward Street, Kingaroy 4610
Cost: $120 for 8 metres of white fabric
Materials Provided: All other costs – tutor costs, dyes and stock solutions, screen printing supplies, fabric paint – have been generously provided by RADF - Regional Arts Development Fund

🎉 Congratulations to textile artist Lyn Kenny, winner of the 2026 KAT Members Competition People’s Choice Award and recipient of the $500 prize for her beautiful artwork “Nasturtiums”. 🌿🌼

Lyn’s vibrant textile piece captured visitors' hearts with its joyful celebration of nasturtiums — a botanical admired for both its beauty and its culinary and medicinal uses.

Thank you to everyone who has visited the exhibition and cast their vote, and congratulations to all participating KAT members for sharing their creativity and talent with our community.

If you haven’t visited the gallery this month, there’s still time to experience our current exhibitions! 🎨✨

✨ **May Exhibitions Opening Night** ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday evening to celebrate the opening of our May exhibitions — it was a wonderful night filled with art, community, and creativity.

We were honoured to have Mayor Kathy Duff officially open the KAT Members People’s Choice Exhibition, showcasing the incredible talent of our local artists.
