💛 We’re 100% volunteer‑run. Every dollar that comes through our doors goes straight back into keeping these beautiful doors open
🕰️ We’re open seven days a week. Yep — every day! We’re committed to being a must‑visit attraction for locals, travellers and history lovers.
🍰 Sundays = Devonshire heaven. Think the best scones around, homemade treats and an authentic tearoom in an authentic setting.
🏆 We’re serious about history. And we’ve got the awards to prove it.
🤩 Visitors say the same thing: “I had NO idea how good this was!”

👧🧒 Kids love it too! School groups visit us all the time and there’s plenty to explore for curious minds of all ages.
💪 Our volunteers are magic. Passionate, dedicated and the reason this place exists. Without them, none of this would be possible.
📸 With original 1800s buildings, a preserved blacksmith shop, German migrant history and plenty of photo‑worthy corners, it’s one of the region’s most surprising day‑trip gems.
