These kids absolutely loved wandering around the museum! They could name just about every car and had an amazing knowledge of how they work.

The museum is absolutely bustling with visitors these school holidays! 🚗

It’s been fantastic chatting with our guests, hearing about their adventures and sharing a little bit of history along the way. If you haven’t visited yet, come down and check out our new displays, explore the museum and see what all the fuss is about!

We’re open 9am–4pm every day these school holidays. We’d love to see you! ❤️

What a fantastic weekend at the National Transport Museum! ❤️

We had the pleasure of welcoming two private events to our museum, giving our guests the chance to enjoy our facilities, meet our amazing volunteers and experience the wonderful community spirit that makes our museum so special.

Saturday evening saw us host a fully catered event supporting a great cause. Thank you for choosing the museum to be part of your special evening!

Then on Sunday morning, we welcomed our friends from the Coffs Harbour Car Club for a lovely morning tea. ☕🚗

A HUGE thank you to our incredible team of friendly volunteers who helped make both occasions such a success. We couldn't do it without you!

It's weekends like these that remind us just how special our museum and community really are.

Thanks to everyone who joined us. We loved having you here! ❤️

📣 MEMBERS CALL OUT! THURSDAY WORKING BEE

Do you need a morning out talking cars, pumping tyres and having a good chat with like minded friends? Come down to the museum and get busy this Thursday morning from 9.30am!

We need a few extra helping hands this week as some of our regular volunteers are away and we have some big events planned for the weekend.

If you’re a member, or simply someone with an interest in transport history and helping out in your community, we’d love to see you.

Spend an hour, or stay as long as you like. There’s always plenty to do and plenty of good company along the way!

Can’t make it Thursday? No worries. Call in anytime and give us a hand when you can.

It was a pleasure to welcome the Northern Tablelands Land Council to the National Transport Museum for a special Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country.

Around 60 guests joined us for the occasion, with catering provided by Smo-KING Barbecue.

We were honoured to be part of a day centred around culture, community and connection, and enjoyed welcoming everyone to the museum.
