Looking for a welcoming place to connect with others, and enjoy a few relaxed hours each week?
The National Transport Museum Inverell is currently looking for friendly community members to join our wonderful volunteer team for afternoon shifts.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys:
Meeting and chatting with travellers and locals
Working alongside a supportive group of ladies
Greeting visitors with a friendly smile
Light cash handling and simple till use
Being part of a relaxed and social environment
Our museum is proudly volunteer-run and has become a special place for friendship, connection, and community involvement. Many of our volunteers say the conversations, laughs, and sense of purpose are the best part of their week.
Afternoon shifts are from 12:30pm to 4:00pm in a comfortable and welcoming setting. Full support is provided, and no previous experience is needed.
If you know a mum, aunty, nan, gran, neighbour, or friend who may enjoy getting out of the house, meeting new people, and becoming part of a caring community, we would love to hear from them. Drop in between 9-4 or give us a call 02 6721 2270 π
