PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITY // IT'S A WRAP

Calling local artists and creatives 🎨

Help bring 99 William Street, Port Macquarie to life with local art.

It’s a Wrap is a temporary outdoor gallery project that will transform construction fencing into a colourful public art display, showcasing the creativity, stories and identity of our local community.

Up to 50 artworks will be selected and printed onto vinyl mesh banner panels, turning an everyday streetscape into something vibrant, welcoming and uniquely local.

This is an inclusive opportunity for emerging artists and creatives of all abilities. You don’t need to have exhibited before, this is a chance to take your artwork from your home or studio and into a fun, visible public installation.

Selected artists will also be featured through a simple artist profile, linked by QR code from the artwork display.

Nulla Nulla Regional Gallery at the Slim Dusty Centre are featuring Joy Le Cerf, an incredibly talented and humble artist whose exhibition has resonated deeply with visitors to the gallery. Surprisingly, despite years of creating beautiful work, this has been one of Joy’s first formal exhibition opportunities, and her collection of oil-on-canvas paintings alongside a large mosaic installation has been nothing short of captivating.

Over the next two weeks, Nulla Nulla Art Gallery will be holding a final exhibition sale and final event, Last Chance Look at Le Cerf, before the works leave the gallery.

Such an exquisit exhibition IMPRESSIONS OF NATURE” PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION” with the hugely talented McDermott & Guong maybe for the last time. Showing Wednesday, May 6-Sunday, May 17,
Open Wednesday to Sunday.

Denise McDermott and Giang Duong
“Impressions of Nature” reflect on how nature influences both art and our own perceptions of the world.

The artworks on display capture the fleeting moments, the transient effects of light on the landscape, how it could change a scene’s appearance at different times of the day or in different weather conditions, a focus on light and its ephemeral nature, and a sense of spontaneity and immediacy.
Please ignore the reflections in my photography.
