A working studio and gallery…
Daily I embrace the production, although not production.
It’s how you view your station, how you continue the spin….changing the way I practice to one of individual form amongst a sea of many pieces keeps me in this space of making.
Remember that conversation so many years ago with my Dad - ‘you need to change the way you think if your not thriving’ 🙌🏽

It’s a special opportunity to be able to have an open Studio Gallery for Visitors to connect with Clay…
It’s a special skill to be able to work when you visit🤣 and it’s a special thing that you put up with my rants and constant state of flux, hands dripping with clay or glaze 🙌🏽 and a fond memory from this time last year camping amongst the Gorse in Assynt, Scotland 💛

My delivery notes are fantastic - pen and already used paper…who keeps them anyway? Morning brews are the best, then the tennis rackets from my youth…I still have ambition 🤣

How to respond? After all this time I can say it’s the process of making 🙌🏽
Quite simple…not tortuous or complicated. Not a convoluted narrative…I could go on…🙃
Although sometimes making numerous teapots can be tortuous 🤣
An initial spark with space to ferment is then caught in the spiral and swallowed with the making 🙌🏽
So I’ll just splash about in the shallows or stay caught in the spin and keep it light 🙌🏽
Herbies and Tudor Jugs in the shop for the Mother in your life 🌸🫶🏽
