Don't try this at home kids.
What have we been up to while the renovations continue at Eumundi Museum? Well, for the most part we have been working with the collection of objects behind the scenes. There is always so much to be done at the museum.
One thing that we would love to share with you is the conservation work being completed on our original ambulance stretcher, that was used by our very own local Eumundi Ambulance brigade, which served the town from 1928-1945. This was conducted by the fantastic conservators, Tine and Duncan Rolley. And it was made possible by a Sunshine Coast Council collection care heritage grant, made possible by the brilliant heritage levy.
It will be on display as soon as we reopen - probably December :)
