Join us at the Hive Art Gallery this Friday evening 5-7pm 17 April for your last chance to celebrate the Aqua Limina - The Pulse of Water, Creek to Coast Exhibition. Buzz in and place your vote for People’s Choice. This award will be presented at the Hive during the evening and you will have a chance to meet the artists and talk to them about the journey they have been on individually and collectively. The Gold Coast has provided such an overwhelmingly positive response to this GC Creatives collaboration which has been curated across 3 creative spaces. After a fantastic weekend class sculpting the figure from clay, Irene is back in the Hive this coming weekend with an equally incredible oil figure painting experience. Spend a dedicated weekend studying the human figure in oil paint with internationally trained Italian artist Irene Messia. Hosted at Hive Art Gallery, this intensive two-day workshop will lead participants through the foundational elements of figure painting — including proportion, tonal relationships, structure, and colour — all while working directly from a live model.
