He will headline the show on 26th September.

Dave will be joined by return artists Out of Abingdon and of course, the talented locals and visitors who are supported by the Tin Camp Studios stage to share their talent too.

This September, join us online for a very special Meet the Maker conversation with Nathan Lygon a Yuin, Dharawal and Wolgalu man, cultural educator and community leader.

Nathan has dedicated much of his life to sharing and strengthening Aboriginal culture, language and knowledge. During this online conversation, Nathan will share his journey, his connection to Country and community, and his experiences carrying and sharing cultural knowledge.

CREATE ART FESTIVAL 2026

Narrabri Shire Council is pleased to invite you to submit an entry for the CREATE Art Festival 2026, which will be held over two weeks in October 2026, with this year’s theme, ‘WATER’, inspiring the festival program across the Shire.

From artistic interpretations of rivers, rain, and rural landscapes to stories of connection, sustainability and life in regional communities, the theme invites creatives and participants to explore the many ways water shapes our environment, culture and identity.

The Exhibition will run from 2 October 2026 to 18 October 2026, from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

The Exhibition opening night will be held on Friday 2 October 2026 at 7.00pm at The Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena St, Narrabri, NSW 2390.

The festival celebrates creativity, diversity, and artistic expression, and we would be delighted to receive your submission as part of this exciting event.
