If your planning a visit this weekend please come and see us tomorrow (Saturday) ☺️
From Sunday 17th May to Monday 25th May we are on a short break during this time the Cave Collection museum and aquariums will be closed.

Our gift shop will be open as normal.
Our google hours are always correct so if in doubt check there first or send a message 😉

Leo the Lionfish has joined the gang with Bob in our deadly aquarium.

Lionfish can completely wipe out a reef with their greedy hunting skills, the use their fins to dance and confuse prey before gobbling it up whole!

In most countries they are a pest species.
In the Atlantic, Carribean and gulf of Mexico they are hunted for food as well as in derbies / competitions where who ever catches the most wins prizes, this is done to preserve reefs.

Leo has lots of venomous spines, which can cause painful, long-lasting, serious injuries to humans.

Sting Symptoms: Immediate, intense pain that can last for hours or even weeks, potentially causing vomiting, fever, or breathing issues.

We think Leo is definitely worthy of being included in the deadly aquarium!

Everytime she waves a tiny hand my heart melts 💓
Angelica is by far my favourite creature in the Cave but dont tell Dave or Kevin! 🐡🐚
I cant wait to watch her grow shes only a few months old now and will get to be a big girl.
Every day we play find Angelica and shes got excellent camouflage skills, today was not her best effort 😅

Who else is obsessed with ugly cute things?
I also have French bulldogs 🤣

Bob does a good job of hiding usually hes the perfect stonefish and very difficult to find. Sometimes he sits in his ribcage and looks cool 😎
