🏍️ Got a Japanese car or motorbike? Bring it along!

It doesn’t need to be a show car.

It doesn’t need to be rare.

And it definitely doesn’t need to be perfect.

Classic, modified, work in progress, weekend toy or daily ride – if it’s Japanese and you enjoy it, we’d love to see it at the Japanese Car & Motorbike Matsuri.

Come along, park up with fellow enthusiasts and be part of a relaxed Sunday morning celebrating Japanese motoring.

What's Hiding in your Shed?

That box of tools you haven't touched in years. The spare car parts gathering dust.

Camping gear you don't use anymore. Fishing gear, old signs, garden tools, workshop bits and pieces...

Someone else could be looking for exactly what you've got!

Have a clean-out, load up the ute and turn some of that unwanted gear into cash at the South West Swap Meet.

And remember, it's not just automotive – anything goes!

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations Craig & Deb! πŸŽ‰

A lovely visit and a lovely surprise for Craig and Deb O’Donnell from Melbourne, who are the latest winners of a Rose Hotel voucher!

Craig and Deb stopped in at the Bunbury Geographe Motor Museum while travelling from Busselton to Mandurah and took some time to explore the collection.

We especially loved the message they left in our visitor book:

β€œFab exhibition – everything beautifully presented WOW!”

Thank you for visiting, Craig and Deb. We hope you enjoyed your time at the museum, and congratulations on your win!

Calling all local makers and producers!

The South West Swap Meet isn't just about car parts and garage treasures!

We'd love to see a great mix of local makers, growers and producers joining us this year.

Think homemade jams and preserves, local honey, artisan breads, fresh produce, plants, handmade goods and other locally produced goodies.

If you've got something to sell, this is a great opportunity to set up a stall and be part of a busy Sunday morning in the heart of Bunbury.

Working Vehicles: Morris Minor Van

Small in size, but built to get the job done!

The Morris Minor Van was the commercial workhorse of the much-loved Morris Minor range. Introduced in 1952, these practical little vans became a familiar sight on the roads, carrying everything from tools and supplies to parcels and post.

They were used extensively by the Royal Mail in the UK, proving that you didn't need a big vehicle to tackle a busy working day.

The Morris Minor was designed by Alec Issigonis, the automotive designer who would later go on to create another British motoring icon – the Mini.

βš™οΈ Engine: 1098cc 4-cylinder
πŸ•ΉοΈ Transmission: 4-speed manual
πŸ’¨ Top speed: Approx. 120 km/h
πŸ“¦ Payload: Approx. 350 kg

Come and see the Morris Minor Van as part of the Working Vehicles Display at the Bunbury Geographe Motor Museum, alongside more of the vehicles that once earned their keep on the road.
