Biggenden Museum sends out a big THANK YOU to Earl and Gary who have worked together restoring this corn/pumpkin seeder planter to full operating condition and then they donated it to the Museum. Come on down and have a look we are open Tuesday & Thursday 9am till 3pm.

Last week we had a wonderful time with a group of students from Coalstoun Lakes. They are a real credit to the teachers and staff in this small community. Respectful , Polite, outgoing, A pleasurer to have at the Museum. They showed such interest in so many things with great questions for us. Chris and Gwenda had the blacksmith forge firer up. Our collection timber Industry Items axes ,chainsaws, wedges and more were of special interest to them . Two Students took the time explained to me how our two-row peanut puller worked I feel more confident now to pass it on to Museum visitors in the future.

Great day at the Biggenden show last Saturday with lots of people checking out our stall, These gentlemen were very surprised at what the Mistry Item was Patoned in1880 they are Toe weights for trotting horses placed on front hooves to help with stride length when trotting.

Biggenden Show is Saturday 16th May . Do you know we have had a few Exhibition Hall . The first one Burnt down about 1923, Hall number 2 blew down about 1986 . Hall number 3 is built of Brick and is serving us well.
