The Triumph TR6 Trophy, built in Meriden from 1956–1973, became a favourite—especially in the United States.

With its “Delta” alloy cylinder head, 1970 crankshaft/flywheel, single Amal Concentric carburetor and 8.5:1 compression ratio, it delivered a remarkably reliable 42 BHP, making it a standout for off-road competition.

Macleay’s bike also features the optional two-into-two exhaust and a 7-inch front brake—beautifully restored and full of character.
