With our Butter Factory open day coming up on the 27th of June, we would like to thank John and Norma Flanagan for donating the white gumboots for our mannequin aptly named after John, who worked there for many years.
The mannequin is dressed in clothing as worn by the factory workers in the later years of it's time.
We look forward to showcasing the many years of the dairying industry in our district.
The factory was a big part of Beaudesert and it's surrounds, and we hope you may be able to take the time to visit on the 27th of June.
Entry is free on the day and the Museum will be open from 9am till 3pm for the event.

The O'Reilly's date palm event was a great success, and now the Beaudesert Museum has produced a booklet which tells the story behind the plaque, including the construction of the Stockyard Creek track, and containing relevant historical and contemporary photographs. The price is $10, and copies are available at the museum, open daily from 10.00am till 2.00pm.

Thank you to the members who assisted with the working bee last Saturday, it is very much appreciated.
A reminder that our bimonthly general meeting will be held this Friday the 17th commencing at 4.30 pm at the Beaudesert Museum.

Storm damage and debris cleaned up this morning.
Thanks to Claire for your kind help in making the area presentable once again. Two very large trailer loads taken off to the tip.

Would anyone be available to help remove branches and debris that came down in yesterdays storm at the Museum tomorrow morning.
We will be starting at 7.30am before it gets too hot.
Will need a couple of rakes to clean up leaves and such.
Will have a chainsaw to cut up larger branches.
Not a big job but some assistance would be appreciated.
