INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE CONTINUES
The City of Matlosana local municipality, through the Directorate of Technical & Infrastructure under the Road Section, is actively engaged in maintaining roads and upgrading infrastructure across Matlosana.

Work ongoing this week includes:
- Resealing and patching potholes in Breede and Buffalo Street, Stilfontein
- Preparing and patching of potholes in Anderson Street, Klerksdorp
- Replacement of paving at the corner of Boom Street and Anderson Street, Klerksdorp
- Preparing and patching of potholes in Flecker Street, Orkney
- Preparing and patching of potholes in Fabric Street
- Repairing a pipe burst at the corner of Latham and Elm Street, Klerksdorp
- Cleaning and replacement of stormwater slabs at Enoch Sontonga street, Klerksdorp
- Pothole patching at Dawkinsville, Klerksdorp
- Preparing and patching of potholes at the corner of 12th Street and Phelandaba Drive. Jouberton
- Cleaning and replacement of stormwater slabs at the corner of Vuyisile Majova Road and Mokgethi Street, Khuma.

These efforts demonstrate the City's commitment to improving road infrastructure and providing better services for all residents.
Residents are advised to exercise caution and obey temporary signage while maintenance work is underway.

POWER OUTAGE IN JOUBERTON AND ALABAMA
The City of Matlosana Local Municipality wishes to inform residents of Jouberton and Alabama that there is currently a power outage affecting both areas.

The outage is due to strong winds experienced in the area. One of the Eskom pylon poles fell due to the strong winds, and some electricity lines in Jouberton have also been flattened by the winds.
Our Electrical team, together with Eskom technicians, are currently on site and busy with repairs to restore electricity supply as soon as possible.

We appeal to residents to remain patient while work is underway and assure you that we will provide updates on the restoration progress.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during these outages.
