What a magnificent immersive experience art the opening of
Will Roux 's solo exhibition, The Luminescent Dawn
The Viewing Room Art Gallery
If you missed it its on till the 19th Oct

Step into a world where fairy tales, environmental commentary and intricate craftsmanship collide.

In The Luminescent Dawn: The Chronicles of Aethelgard, Will Roux reimagines folklore and myth through a contemporary dark fantasy, exploring humanity’s relationship with technology and the natural world.

Using hand cut paper, embroidery, structural weaving and LED lighting, Roux creates intricate landscapes shaped by destruction, grief and renewal. Gold threads and woven root networks become symbols of repair, suggesting that even what has been fractured can be carefully stitched back together.

A story of darkness, restoration and light.
