In this series of bronze sculptures, I use the ancient and enduring medium of bronze, a material traditionally used to commemorate heroes, gods and historical moments through it’s permanence. Although it seems very whimsical on the surface, it explores the intricate and often manipulative nature that define our social interactions.

"Annemie Odendaal kuier saam met die Koppel Teken Span uit haar Pretoria ateljee. Sy is `n dinamiese besigheidsvrou wat haar stempel in die afgelope vyf jaar dubbel en dwars kon maak op die kreatiewe sektor van Suid Afrika.

Sy het selfs al die kans gekry om ons in Frankryk te verteenwoordig as kunstenaar en het `n residensie losgeslaan vir drie maande.

Sy het soveel om te deel uit haar wandel. Sy is heeltemal gelukkig om al haar ateljee oop te maak en jou fisies self te wys. Sy hou aan leer en steek ons sommer ook aan om nog te leer..."
