Lucius Angler Fish - Ulrich Riek

Drawing inspiration from the steampunk genre a rich blend of history, fantasy, and intricate craftsmanship, allows artists limitless creative expression. The allure of gears, clockwork mechanisms, and anachronistic inventions offers a playground for visual storytelling, enabling artists like Riek to explore themes of innovation, identity, and societal evolution.
Ulrich Riek was born in 1964 in the North West Province, after completing two years of national service he completed the Graphic design diploma at Ruth Prowse College of Art and Design.

We get the keys for our new gallery space tomorrow. Yay 🎉
Have to paint the floor, install the spot lights and hanging system then move everything back into the space and rehang.
A big week ahead. Hope to reopen for business on Monday June 8th.

For the third time in sixteen years, Originals Gallery is on the move. This time, we are relocating two shops down due to the renovation of the retail spaces in Harbour Square on Harbour Road, Hermanus.
We are excited to return in June to our new gallery space and look forward to welcoming all our valued clients, friends, and supporters once again.
