Yesterday, Grade 11 learners from Kutliso Daniels Secondary School visited the Albany Museum to deepen their understanding of heritage preservation. Their visit formed part of their preparation for the Heritage competition, offering them an opportunity to gather valuable information.

The learners explored the museum’s diverse heritage artefacts, learning about their cultural significance and why it is vital to conserve them for future generations. They also engaged with the museum’s work in conservation and protection, gaining insight into how heritage institutions safeguard history while making it accessible to the public.

This visit not only supported their research but also highlighted the importance of heritage education in fostering awareness, pride, and responsibility among young people.
