In 1998 my dream of owning an art gallery was finally realised when I opened my first gallery in Durbanville. My vision was to carry a wide range of quality art to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of clients. Soon galleries throughout South Africa and Namibia approached me for artworks. With this, I entered the retail as well as the wholesale side of the art industry.

The Lindy van Niekerk Art Gallery,, established in 1994, is situated in the picturesque Eversdal, Durbanville, and boasts a diverse collection of artworks curated from both internationally recognised South African artists and up-and-coming talent. In addition to showcasing art, we offer an array of services including expert framing, art restoration, arr workshops/classes, paint and sip sessions, self-catering units, and bespoke private functions.

We cordially invite you to attend our Festival of Arts exhibition, complete with light refreshments, taking place from Sunday, 26th April to Sunday, 10th May 2026. Admission is free. During this exhibition, our gallery is open Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 18:00, and weekends, 11:00 to 17:00. We welcome you to visit.
