In celebration of over 90 years of the Wiles family’s contribution to art in our country and abroad, the curators of the Gallery have managed to track down twenty new artworks from the family’s private collection. These will be on display to the public for the first time ever at the Wiles Gallery in Bathurst. The family have as a collective left an undeniable imprint on South Africa’s art landscap

e, and Lucy and Ben (Jane Wiles’s son and daughter) recognise the need to reflect, remember, celebrate and honour that legacy as well as remind owners and lovers of Wiles work that it will never be lost.
