The Cape Cod Museum Trail, sponsored by First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union, launched in late 2014 when a few museum directors were invited to discuss ways to share, coordinate and promote each other’s vast and diverse resources. It continues to evolve with many new member museums joining the trail monthly.

The French Cable Station Museum opens for the season on June 6! 🚠✨
Stop by for a tour Fridays–Sundays, 1 PM – 4 PM, through September 28. Admission is free, though donations are greatly appreciated to help preserve their history.

Visit the Falmouth Museums on the Green for their 2026 season on June 5th!

Enjoy free admission while exploring their exhibits, taking a docent-led tour of the 1790 Dr. Wicks House, or browsing the Whaling Wives Gift Shop. They are open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 10 am–2 pm, and Saturday from 10 am–4 pm. Stop by the Hallet Barn Visitor’s Center to meet their volunteers and start your tour!

The arrival of Spring brings us to the start of Tool Time Tuesdays at the Eastham Historical Society! From 4:00 PM-6:00 PM you can visit the Ranlett Tool Museum and drop off donations for their upcoming White Elephant and Tool Sale June 7th.

Bring the kids to stump them on all the great equipment and antique tools they have housed there! On Saturdays, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, you can also catch the blacksmith at the forge.

Did you know that during the American Revolution, the "East Precinct" and "West Precinct" of Old Yarmouth eventually became the towns of Dennis and Yarmouth we know today?

To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, three local organizations have collaborated to bring this history to life. Join the Cape Cod Museum of Art for their 15-week exhibit, "Old Yarmouth: Life During the Revolution," featuring rare maps, furniture, and fashion from the era.
