We are slowly working on the deinstall and packing up of works from Colour is...
Thank you for your patience if you are waiting to hear back from us, as the Gallery is fully run by volunteers so we are doing our best to wrap up the admin side of closing a show during a busy time of year for a lot of us.

New instruments now available to borrow through the Greg Reynolds Instrument Lending Library!

Fall is a great time to learn something new for all ages, and with the addition of a small harp and tenor banjo to the GRILL collection, there are even more opportunities to pick up an instrument and make some music.

Miss your chance to see this when it premiered in June in Blyth? Here's another local chance to see Cory Bilyea first documentary about the late Michael 'Cy' Cywink
You'll walk away having wished you were lucky enough to have gotten to meet him in person.

All are welcome to join The Huron County Museum on Saturday, Sept. 19, for a special screening of the documentary film The Creation Story of Michael “Cy” Cywink. Following the film they will host an artist talk and Q&A session with local filmmaker Cory Bilyea.

The film honours the life and enduring legacy of the late Anishinaabe muralist, author, and curator Michael “Cy” Cywink. For over 40 years, Cy dedicated his life to breaking down cultural walls, sharing oral traditions, and mentoring youth through community-led public art.

This screening is included with regular admission to the Museum, or free with a Museum membership or Huron County Library card. Seating is limited, RSVP online.

And that's a wrap on the 2026 Blyth Festival Art Gallery Spring and Summer gallery season!

Thanks to all the creatives, community members, supporters, visitors and volunteers who made it possible.

There will be a Community Show coming up later this fall/early winter. Watch this space for details. We are waiting on a few additional pieces of outside information before we are able to put the dates and final participation information and decisions in stone.

So please be patient as the fully volunteer based committee who runs the gallery works to put that all together. Things are happening behind the scenes but are not to a point of announcements just yet.

Come see our show before the 13th!
