Hiromi Woodblock Prints is a dealer of very select woodblock prints of all types produced from the early 19th century to today. Woodblock prints, also called "Ukiyo-e" is a form of art that has been practiced in Japan for centuries and has grown to become a world-wide art phenomenon, distinct in its original target audience and pictorial display. Hiromi Woodblock Prints provides select pieces from

all aspects of woodblock prints to customers, giving them the greatest variety of experience and interest. This goal is what lead to the store's name: "Hiro" the phonetic pronunciation in Japanese for the kanji character "wide" (宏) and "Mi" for the character "beautiful" (美). Simply put, Hiromi Woodblock Print's mission is to provide customers with the best combination of wide and beautiful woodblock prints. Visits are by appointment only on any day of the week with the exception of Fridays, which we are open from 10am to 9pm.
