I am a physician who has been collecting for nearly 30 years. Over the last 20 years I have enjoyed a part-time “career” as a dealer in fine art. Over the last two decades I have enjoyed a part-time “career” as a dealer in fine art. I love the pursuit of great art, but really enjoy researching the pieces and artists and educating my clients. I am committed to offering wonderful art by well-known a

nd not so well-known artists at reasonable prices. The name Diverse Ayres comes from a collection of English songs dating from the Renaissance. This reflects my interest in music as well as describing the eclectic collection offered. The focus of the art is American and European artists from 1880-2000 with emphasis on the Arts and Crafts and Mid-Century periods. However, I have art from the 15th century to the late 20th century as well as artists from all over the world. While my business is part-time, I have a full-time commitment to your satisfaction. Diverse Ayres operates to the highest ethical standards of honesty and integrity. I strive to accurately represent the prints to the best of my ability. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason ship it back and I will refund your full purchase price. I look forward to serving you now and in the future.

The Japanese printmaking tradition goes back hundreds of years. We love contemporary Japanese prints and so do our customers. We have lots of new pieces by Japanese artists including Risaburo Kimura, Hideo Yoshihara, Hideo Hagiwara, Kenjilo Nanao, Fukita Fumiaki, and Hiro Kai. The Twin Cities 20th Century Design Show is less than two weeks away. September 20 and 21st at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. We're back in the Progress Center Building where the show started. Brian and Cam at Eastwood Gallery do a great job. We always bring our best pieces. We want to highlight two brand new acquisitions: Lithographs by Alexander Calder and Joan Miro. The Calder lithograph is "Environment and Evolution". It's from the US edition of 125. Just a spectacular example of his work. The Miro is "Fundacio Joan Miro Avant la Lettre (Black)". It is from the from the limited edition of 75 and is also pencil signed. A very dramatic work. We'll be posting other pieces in the coming days. Stop by the Eastwood Gallery page for details about the show. See you there!!
