Becoming
Every life begins as a blank canvas.
Before the world teaches us who we should be, we exist in pure possibility—free to imagine, to create, and to become.
These three figures do not represent specific people.
They represent all of us.
Each stands at a different point along life’s path, surrounded by colour, emotion, experience, and countless influences that shape the way we see ourselves and others.
The layers of paint reflect the complexity of being human. The splashes and lines symbolize the voices, memories, relationships, victories, and struggles that continually leave their mark upon us.
Yet through every layer of confusion, one truth remains.
We always have the ability to choose.
To choose understanding over judgment.
To choose courage over fear.
To choose love over hate.
This work is not about perfection.
It is about possibility.
It is a reminder that beneath every label, every opinion, and every life experience, we are all simply human beings finding our way through the same extraordinary journey.
