HERE WE ARE — 3 YEARS OF Tomuralee gallery

----------------------------------
To be honest, it all started in a quiet little corner.

From old-school Ginza back in Tokyo in 1989 to the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City today, TomuraLee’s journey was never about counting years or measuring distance. It’s simply been a series of encounters — where art became the perfect excuse to find like-minded souls.

After three years of rooting ourselves in the South, the most precious thing isn’t how far we’ve come, but the lifelong friends we’ve met along the way. Honestly, this story is just getting started. HERE WE ARE.

----------------------

The exhibition “Trạm Bình Yên” by artist Nguyễn Như has officially come to a close.

Over the past weeks, the gallery has had the privilege of welcoming art lovers, collectors, artists, friends, and visitors who took the time to stop by, pause, and enter the artistic world of Nguyễn Như.

More than simply an encounter with artworks, “Trạm Bình Yên” offered a moment of stillness — a space where each of us could find a personal emotion, a memory, or simply a quiet moment to slow down amid the rhythm of everyday life.

TomuraLee would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to artist Nguyễn Như for sharing this deeply emotional artistic journey with us. We would also like to thank all our visitors, collectors, partners, friends, and everyone who accompanied us, shared in the experience, and supported the exhibition.

Every “station” eventually comes to an end.

Yet what has been felt, remembered, and held onto along the way may continue to stay with us.

Thank you for stopping by Trạm Bình Yên.

We look forward to welcoming you again on our next artistic journey.

TRẠM BÌNH YÊN — 5 DAYS LEFT

Only 5 days left before Trạm Bình Yên comes to an end.

A quiet space to pause, to look, and to simply be present.

If you haven’t visited yet, there are only a few more days to experience the exhibition at TomuraLee Gallery.

Come by and spend a little time at Trạm Bình Yên before it closes.

HERE WE ARE

Our story did not begin in Ho Chi Minh City.

It began in Ginza, Tokyo in 1989. Since that time we have traveled across borders moved through cities and entered countless chapters of the art world.

We have hosted exhibitions in places. We have worked with artists from generations and from all over the world. We have built lasting relationships with collectors who care about art as much as we do.

Some of these connections started with an exhibition. Others grew slowly over years and across cities. Are still alive today.

Then in 2023 a new city joined our journey.

Ho Chi Minh City.

This year marks our anniversary here.

In the context of our history three years may not seem like much.. In many ways our journey in Ho Chi Minh City has only just begun.

So for this anniversary we didn’t want to look. We wanted to ask:

Where're we today?

Six artists offer part of the answer.

Four established artists, whose work has helped shape the story of contemporary art come together with two young artists still in university just beginning to write their own first chapters.

Different generations. Different views. Different stages of a journey.

Experience meets possibility.

We have come a way. We have been in places. We have lived through years.

Yet standing here today we know this:

Our story, in Ho Chi Minh City is only beginning.

HERE WE ARE.

SEOUL ART WEEK

Seoul has again become a key meeting place for the global art world.

At the center of Seoul Art Week are Frieze Seoul and Kiaf. Galleries, collectors, artists and top figures from art, culture and fashion have come together from over the world.

TomuraLee Gallery has joined in this week. We have reconnected with long‑time collectors met people and happily seen works by artists we have shown together at fairs and exhibitions in Seoul.

The days were filled with art, conversation and new discoveries.

The nights were full of dinners, gatherings and parties over the city.

This week has been special because we reconnected with friends and collectors from corners of the world all brought together in Seoul by art.

Our Seoul week is not finished yet.

Tonight Kazuki Takamatsu’s exhibition opens at NEXT Museum with support from TomuraLee Gallery.

We look forward to sharing more about tonight’s opening party and the exhibition soon.

In December Takamatsu’s journey continues from Seoul to Ho Chi Minh City, where TomuraLee Gallery will show his work to our audience, in Vietnam.
