"Traversal" – the eighth solo presentation by artist Hien Nguyen 🫟

Opening at 6:00 PM on Friday, 24 April 2026, at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, the exhibition introduces a series of lacquer works exploring the concept of "space"—a notion both challenging and compelling within the language of painting. Through variations in theme, inspiration, material technique, and aesthetic approach, the works revolve around this central idea, inviting viewers into an expanded perceptual field 🪸

Guided by imagination and observation, each two-dimensionally bounded composition unfolds into multiple dimensions of space, extending beyond its visible form to suggest unseen, infinite elements. In doing so, the works gesture towards the intrinsic beauty of artistic materiality, interwoven with the enigmatic allure of the metaphysical universe 🌌

The exhibition is open until 4 May 2026 on the 1st Floor, Building B of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

“Love & Draw" – a group exhibition featuring six female artists: Kim Thai, Luong Hien, My Hoc, Do Duyen, Tong Ngoc, and Tu Tran 👩🏻‍🎨

Opening on 15 April 2026, the exhibition brings together nearly 40 silk paintings. Each work unfolds as a distinct personal confession, where the quiet rhythms of everyday life in Luong Hien's practice dissolve into artistic reverie, while Tu Tran reimagines the dreamlike sensibilities of youth through a vivid, grounded lens. The interplay between Kim Thai's free-spirited expressive freedom, Tong Ngoc’s lucid clarity, and the poetic quietude of My Hoc and Do Duyen creates a rich emotional journey, celebrating the fragile and unassuming beauty of life 🌿

The exhibition is open to the public until 21 April 2026 on the 2nd Floor of Building B, Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

Playing with Leaves – the third solo exhibition by artist Ta Hai 🌿

A retired journalist with a profound and enduring love for nature, Ta Hai constructs a visual world where materials are drawn not from synthetic pigments, but distilled entirely from the purest offerings of the natural world: dried petals and fallen leaves. Through his skilful hands and deeply emotive sensibility, these seemingly spent remnants of life are given a vivid rebirth, transformed into radiant, expressive compositions 🌼🍁

The exhibition opens at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, 14 April 2026 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi 🇻🇳

Let’s start a new week with "a touch of sunshine" through Pham Binh Chuong’s oil painting — Hang Trong Street ☀️

The artist captures a corner of Hang Trong Street, an intimate, familiar slice of Hanoi. With golden light spilling across the pavement, weathered bicycles, and moss-covered walls, the work evokes a profound sense of tranquillity.
