Cracker Trail Museum started in 1967 by the Peace River Valley Historical Society, with the procurement of a $20,000 grant from the Florida Game & Fresh Water Fish Commission and the U.S. Originally known as "Pioneer Park Museum", it serves the public interest of the Peace River Valley by providing a means for the collection, preservation and interpretation of collections of significant historic o

bjects from the area. Additionally, the museum's primary obligation was to guarantee adequate preservation of the collections and effective use of their contents. Donations range from Pioineer household goods, farming implements, historical documents, Indian history and implements. Cracker Trail Museum is part of Pioneer Park's historic Pioneer Village which includes the C.A. Bryant Blacksmith Shop, a 1914 Baldwin Locomotive Engine, and the Hart Cabin.
