Zelienople Historical Society

Zelienople Historical Society ZHS is a 501C3 non-profit organization, founded in 1975 (our 50th year). Dettmar Basse founded the town in 1802, naming it for his daughter Zelie Passavant.

ZHS owns the two oldest houses in Zelienople: the 1808 Passavant House and the 1819 Buhl House.
