Tonight, I had the pleasure of attending a reading and book signing with Brad Ryan and Grandma Joy, hosted by the Muskingum County Community Foundation at EagleSticks.

I’ve followed Brad and Grandma Joy’s journey for several years through interviews, news stories, and social media as they traveled together to visit America’s National Parks. Their story has always inspired me, and hearing them share it in person was even more meaningful.

I just purchased the book tonight and can’t wait to dive into it this weekend. From Brad’s reading and the stories they shared, the themes that resonated most with me were the importance of family, the value of creating memories with the people we love, the courage to start new adventures, and the reminder that it’s never too late to experience something for the first time.

Thank you to the Muskingum County Community Foundation for bringing this wonderful event to our community. I’m looking forward to spending some time with “Grandma Joy and Me” this weekend and experiencing the full story for myself.
