The moment every weaver looks forward to...

Sally is taking a freshly finished set of handwoven towels off the loom! After hours of weaving, it's finally time to see the full results.

There's something so satisfying about watching a project come to completion and seeing all that hard work transformed into something beautiful and useful.

The Art Loft artists are honored to be part of A New Chapter: Artists of Muskingum County at the library.

This collaborative piece, created by all four Art Loft artists, is part of the community-wide celebration of 250 years of America, featuring work by local artists throughout Muskingum County. You can find these pieces hanging in the Carnegie Wing now through July.

If you’re visiting the library this summer, we hope you’ll take a moment to explore the exhibit and support the incredible creativity in our local arts community.

After countless yards of thread, hours at the loom, and more creative ideas than we can count, Sally McMillan Luburgh has officially emptied this impressive collection of weaving cones. Every one of them represents time spent making, experimenting, and creating by hand.

There’s something so fun about seeing the evidence of a creative life stacked right on the table. 🧵

We love getting these little glimpses into the process behind the artwork at The Art Loft.

📌📌A reminder to all of our Flower Show artists: if you haven’t already picked up your artwork, Susan will be at the studio today until 12 PM for pickups.

If you can’t make it today, just send us a message and we’ll help arrange a time for next week.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Flower Show such a beautiful evening. We loved seeing so many people come through the studio to celebrate art, spring, and community with us.

We’re excited to announce the award winners:

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you again to every artist who submitted work for the show. We had over 50 beautiful pieces on display and truly appreciate everyone who participated and attended.

Our hearts are so full after such a beautiful Flower Show at The Art Loft.

To every artist who submitted work, thank you for sharing your creativity with us. The variety, talent, and care in each piece made this show truly special.

To everyone who came out to attend, support, and spend the evening with us, you are what brings these events to life. It means so much to see our space filled with conversation, connection, and appreciation for art.

A special thank you to Bill Stoneburner for the live music that set the perfect atmosphere, Laine Snyder for thoughtfully judging our show, and Kristen Baughman for sharing her beautiful flower bouquets with us.

We are so grateful for this creative community and the way you continue to show up, support one another, and make The Art Loft such a special place.

The Art Loft Flower Show | 5–8 PM

If you’re looking for something simple and beautiful to do this evening, come by and spend a little time with us.

🌸 Vote for Your Favorite Flower!
Visitors to The Art Loft Flower Show on May 1 will be able to vote for their favorite artwork!
We’ll be awarding a People’s Choice Award at the end of the evening.
Come enjoy the art and help us choose the winner. Voting will take place from 5-7, winner will be announced at 7:30.
