The Hosting

The Hosting The Hosting is a Non Profit artist residency program based in Michigan. I’m Anya Klapischak, and I’m the host of The Hosting.

The Hosting is committed to working with artists of all mediums, whom have an interest in change, sustainability, and asking questions. The Hosting is a traveling podcast and residency in two parts:

In the first part, the artist becomes Mentor, and I become the Student. The Mentor invites me in, and reveals their practice and process. In the second part, we make a piece together. Each episode introduces us to a new artist, and a new process. "You don't truly know something until you teach it."
