Napa Valley Museum Yountville For over 50 years, Napa Valley Museum has offered diverse cultural experiences of art, nature and history.

Connect with us at two locations: Napa Valley Museum Yountville (NVMY) and the new Napa Valley Museum of Art & Culture (the MAC), plus NVM on Tour. California’s Napa Valley Museum Yountville presents a three-part cultural experience of art, nature, and history through exhibitions, educational programs, and creative activities. The Main Gallery hosts West Coast and world premieres and other major exhibitions. The Spotlight Gallery showcases emerging artists and features noteworthy aspects of local culture. The History Gallery displays selections that exemplify our region’s history from among the Museum’s permanent collection. With hands-on participatory exhibits and family-friendly activities, the Museum has something to inspire visitors of all ages, languages and interests. One of the biggest stories in American journalism is coming to the big screen at NVMY! 🎬

Friday Night Films returns on November 6 with All the President’s Men, the acclaimed political thriller based on the true story of Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein and their investigation into the Watergate scandal.
Starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman, the film follows the reporters as a seemingly small story leads them through a growing trail of sources, secrets and unanswered questions, and ultimately helps uncover a scandal that changed American politics.

Join us for another Friday night at the movies in Yountville on November 6. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $15 for kids, and are available now.

Maybe it’s a painting that’s been in the family for decades, or a piece of jewelry you inherited, or watch you know very little about. On October 24, specialists from John Moran Auctioneers Inc. will be at Napa Valley Museum Yountville to take a closer look!

Sit down one-on-one with an expert for a live verbal valuation of fine art and jewelry and learn more about the piece you brought along, including its potential auction value. If something in your collection has had you curious, bring it to the museum and get some answers!

A very merry unbirthday to the Mad Hatter. 🎩

We’re heading down the rabbit hole with Mary Blair and her wonderfully imaginative work for Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.

Blair’s bold color, playful shapes and slightly surreal point of view helped define the visual world of the 1951 film, and made Wonderland feel every bit as curious as its characters.

On October 24, expert appraisers from John Moran Auctioneers Inc. are coming to Napa Valley Museum Yountville for What’s It Worth?—a day dedicated to discovering the stories and potential value behind the things we keep.

Guests will bring in fine art and jewelry, from paintings, sculpture and photography to watches and family heirlooms, for a live verbal valuation with a John Moran specialist. Each item will be examined and discussed before receiving an estimate of its potential auction value.
