The mission of the Youngsville Museum of History is to restore the oldest church building in Youngsville to be used as a community center to promote interest in our heritage, celebrate the arts, offer educational programs, and preserve our history. Our goal is to preserve the old Christian Church building and the history of our community. The building is in need of floor repairs and upgrades to th

e electrical wiring and restroom facilities. We also need to build cabinets and shelving to display artifacts, pictures, and other memorabilia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Monetary donations should be made payable to the Youngsville Woman's Club, Inc. The museum will be closed this Saturday due to our A/C and heating unit not working. We had the company who services the unit said it has to be replaced. The unit is 25 years old. With that said, we need donations to help pay for the unit.
The unit will cost $10,000.
We are thankful for so many that come to the museum and leave donations. Our goal is to keep the landscaping looking good and adding new exhibits. That takes money. Our utility bills have gone up too.
