Creative York was founded by area artists and community members in 1990 to support local artists in all disciplines and to make the arts accessible to all members of our community. For

Looking for a creative way to spend next week?

There are still spots available in three exciting summer camps beginning June 29, but hurry, because registration closes on Wednesday evening:

• Storybook Art Camp (Ages 5–7) | 9–11am
• Animal Drawing (Ages 8–10) | 9am–12pm
• Teen Intensive: Hand Lettering (Ages 13–18) | 1–4pm

Art in the Parks starts TODAY!

Join Creative York at Bantz Park in downtown York from 6:30–7:30pm for free art activities for ages 3–12. Just show up and create! No registration required.

We'll be at Bantz Park Monday through Friday this week, bringing hands-on art experiences, creativity, and fun to the park.

Please note: Art in the Parks is weather dependent. If thunderstorms are present, it will be canceled for the evening. Check back for updates before heading out.

We can't wait to kick off another summer of creativity in the parks!

Summer Camp is off to a colorful start at Creative York!

Our classrooms were buzzing with creativity as campers stitched, sculpted, designed, drew, and imagined their way through Let's Get Sewing!, Designing Dinner Sets in Clay, Sewing: Making Bags!, Under the Sea Clay Camp, and Characters & Cartooning with . We loved seeing all the creativity, new friendships, and amazing artwork that filled the week.

The next chance to join the fun is coming up soon, and there are still a few spots available.

Last chance to experience two powerful exhibitions at Creative York.

This is the final week to view Artist Visions in the Kerlin Gallery, featuring the work and perspectives of visually impaired artists, and An Impending Sense of Doom in the Art Lab, Chad Whitaker's immersive exhibition exploring his experience with congestive heart failure through sculpture, photography, and video.

Both exhibitions close this week as we prepare for our next gallery installations.

The forecast is looking beautiful for a day of painting outdoors.

Join us Saturday, June 20 for the Gold Star Garden Plein Air event. Spend the day creating in one of York's most inspiring outdoor spaces, surrounded by fellow artists and the beauty of the garden.

There is still time to participate. Artists are welcome to join us for a day of outdoor painting and may submit their work for consideration in the Gold Star Garden exhibition and reception this November.

Whether you're an experienced plein air painter or simply looking for a reason to get outside and create, we'd love to see you there.
